Open the popup and type a username
Open Follower Exporter from the Chrome toolbar and enter the Instagram username you want to export. Just stay logged in to Instagram in your browser — there’s no separate login or setup inside the extension.

Pick the list you want to export. The selected list is also included in the export filename, making different exports easy to identify.

Turn on Detailed Info for richer data
Enable Detailed Info for a more detailed export. Keep in mind, it takes longer because the additional data is requested separately for each user.

No. Follower Exporter doesn't ask for your Instagram password or require a separate login. It uses the Instagram session already active in your browser, so you need to be logged in to Instagram in the same browser.
Follower Exporter uses a random delay between requests to slow down the export and help protect your Instagram account. You can customize the minimum and maximum delay between requests in Settings to control the export speed.
Yes. Your progress is saved as the export runs, so you can pause and resume later without losing the data already collected. Even if you close the tab, the export remains available in History.
Yes, as long as the account is visible to you. Follower Exporter can only export information that Instagram already makes available to your browser. It does not bypass private account settings or access hidden data.
There is no fixed export size limit. Larger follower lists simply take longer to process. You can pause and resume large exports whenever you need to.
CSV (UTF-8, one account per row, column names on the first line), Excel .xlsx workbooks and JSON with real types. You pick the format at download time, so changing your mind never means running the export again.
No. Follower Exporter processes and creates your export directly in your browser. Your exported data is not uploaded to any server, and the data stays on your device.
